Sparklike Laser Integrated™ brings automated, non-invasive gas measurement directly into your insulating glass (IG) production line for both double and triple glazing, including most coated and laminated glass.
By integrating the device into your gas filling or assembly line, you gain continuous quality control, optimized gas filling accuracy, and real-time data for every unit produced.
With Sparklike Laser Integrated™, your production gains:
Higher process efficiency
Consistent insulation performance across all units
Reduced callbacks and waste
Upgrade your IG line with precision, automation, and measurable savings — all in one solution.
Sharing the measuring technology of the Sparklike Laser Portable™ devices, Sparklike Laser Integrated™ enhances the quality control to the new level. Sparklike Laser Integrated™ is based on laser technology (TDLAS). The device measures oxygen, and the results are converted to concentration of argon, krypton, and other insulating gases. Insulating glass units are measured automatically after the gas press, and all the results are recorded to its memory and are possible to be sent back to the IG-line or its ERP-system.
Sparklike Laser devices are designed to measure insulating gas concentration without breaking the glass. However, compatibility depends on your IGU structure. Use our quick tool to find out if Sparklike Laser Integrated is suitable for your specific glass assembly.
Yes. Sparklike Laser Integrated™ can be installed as a turnkey solution and adapted to most insulating glass production line configurations.
The system requires only 700 mm of free space in the line, which means it can be added without major layout changes or additional production stops.
The measurement takes place at a defined point, typically right after the gas press, as part of the line’s normal cycle. This allows gas concentration verification to be performed without interrupting the overall production flow, ensuring smooth operation and consistent throughput.
Measurement time depends on IGU structure and integration level:
Double-glazed units (DGU): approx. 9–22 seconds (when IGU dimensions are received from the line)
Triple-glazed units (TGU): approx. 13–26 seconds (with line data)
If dimensional data is not received from the IG-line, measurement time is typically:
DGU: 25–38 seconds
TGU: 31–44 seconds
The measurement is fully automated and synchronized with the line cycle. Results are automatically stored for traceability and process optimization.
Each measurement result is automatically saved in the system’s internal database and can be transferred via network connection to external systems for quality documentation or process monitoring.
Sparklike Laser Integrated™ uses a Windows-based software platform with SSD data storage (128 GB) and USB/network transfer options. The data can also be connected to your ERP or quality control system, enabling full traceability of every measured IGU.
This ensures that gas fill data supports continuous quality improvement, process validation, and customer reporting.
The system measures double and triple glazed units, including laminated and most coated glasses. Before installation, your IGU structures can be evaluated using the Sparklike IG Configurator — an online tool that helps you determine if and how your specific configurations can be measured.
After the gas filling process, the gas inside the insulating glass unit (IGU) is still stabilizing and moving within the cavity. Because of this, the individual measurement results may show some variation immediately after filling.
The main purpose of Sparklike Laser Integrated™ is to monitor the stability of the gas filling process over time. The system follows the gas fill rate trend using a rolling average, which smooths short-term fluctuations and highlights process consistency.
When the trend remains stable within the target range, it confirms that the gas filling process is functioning correctly and producing IGUs with the desired gas concentration.
Sparklike Laser Integrated™ communicates directly with the insulating glass line control system. It typically receives information such as IGU dimensions, glass thickness, and production cycle status from the line allowing the measurement process to be fully automated.
This integration ensures that the gas fill verification takes place precisely at the right point in the process, usually immediately after the gas press, without additional operator input. If dimensional data is not available from the line, the system can operate using pre-set measurement parameters.
